Let's meet at 6:15pm in the Taffarn y Garreg pub to order meals at 6:30pm. Then a steep ascent high into the mountains in darkness, to find somewhere discreet to sleep. The next day will have several ups and downs as we summit all the highest mountains in the area; including Fan Brycheieniog 802m, Fan Foel 802m and Bannau Sir Gaer 749m; then finding another sleeping spot. Sunday will be mostly descent. If the weather is extreme we'll have to stay lower down. We'll choose our route based on the weather, we're likely to do about 25km and 1300 metres of ascent.
