Why not join the OutdoorLads team on this third party, closed roads sportive event around Birmingham and the Midlands. "Starting in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, Vélo Birmingham & Midlands will take 18,000 riders of all abilities on a truly unforgettable journey through two iconic Midlands cities and the beautiful West Midlands countryside on closed roads"
You will need to register through https://www.velobirmingham.com/ - Entries open on Thursday 3rd October 2019. Please note it will sell out fairly quickly.
Select the 100 mile option, enter Outdoorlads as your team, thus we will be put in the same wave. It will cost around £80 if I remember correctly. It may seem expensive, but this is a highly organised closed road event with multiple feed stops.
Please note as a third party event there will be no formal OutdoorLads event leader shepherding you along. Though not a race, the event is timed and Will the organiser is slightly competitive. If you are an experienced road cyclist you should be fine. The hope is we will be of a similar pace so we can chit chat during the cycle. Last year there were three of us bimbling along having a good time.
Please do wear your OutdoorLads branded kit if you have it. A new summer jersey kit order will be starting soon, ideal for this sort of event. If you sign up for this event you'll get updates from us on how to order.
