Bicester and Oxford Social May 2018

Join Sylvain in Bicester at The Penny Black for this month's joint Bicester and Oxford social.

The Oxford Socials have been running for the past six years and a few Bicester ODL’ers have trekked to Oxford for a night out in the past, so we thought it only fair to pay them back!

The Penny Black is within a short staggering distance of Bicester Village Station.

Food will be available at the pub. Around 9ish, we will make our way to discover other interesting venues for this social (The Bell, The Angel, Jacobs Plough,....) depending on the mood.

Why not join us either at the pub or meet up at Oxford rail station for the train journey.

Plan for the evening

We will be at The Penny Black from 19:00, just come along and grab some food and/or drink(s) and stay for as little or as long as you want.

If you are arriving by train, the pub is only 0.5 miles away (about 10 minutes walk).

Is it a regular event?

The Oxford Social is held once a month at pubs in and around the city. Occasionally they are combined with walks, bowling etc.

Other socials are held throughout the month at a variety of locations. Check out the ODL calendar or map to find the nearest to you.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes of course, especially those who might be interested in what we do. We are meeting in a public venue and it would be great to introduce others to OutdoorLads.

How will I find the group?

A red ODL t shirt should be on the table where we will be sitting.
