Please aim to arrive at the campsite between 17:00 and 20:00. If you intend
arriving later then please message the Event Leader to let him know. Once you get to
the site, you will be greeted by the Event Leader. (If you arrive
late please ask another member to call the Event Leader before pitching your tent). On arrival we will need to give you important
information. If you get lost

IT SOUNDS GREAT, SO HOW DO I PAY? AND WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO?
Please use the links at the top of this page to pay for the event. The
cost covers the booking of the campsite, windsurf hire and instruction, administration & leadership
expenses (for organising, printing costs, researching the weekend and
for the Event Leader's petrol). The price also includes a contingency for OutdoorLads in case
the event doesn't fill and the price is also inclusive of VAT and credit
card processing fees.
Any profit made by OutdoorLads from this weekend is put back into the
group to maintain & develop the website, place deposits and make
future bookings, to send our leaders on training courses such as First
Aid courses, Mountain Leader courses, navigation courses, food hygeine
courses etc. A small proportion goes towards marketing for the group.
Your money also goes towards maintaining and storing the equipment that
OutdoorLads uses on events.
If you are a Guest or Trial
Member and have used your first two events, you'll also need to become
a Full Member before you can register for this event.
THERE AREN'T ANY PLACES LEFT, BUT I REALLY WANT TO COME. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Unfortunately when the event reaches its limit there will be no further
space for people to join. Event limits are set for organisational and
safety reasons. However, if the event is full you can still register
and pay and you will appear on the event reserve list. If a place
subsequently becomes available then it will be filled from the event
reserve list on a first-come, first-served basis.
I'VE SIGNED UP & PAID BUT I CAN'T MAKE IT ANYMORE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

let the Event Leader know so that someone else wanting to go on the
event is able to take your place.
Public transport details are listed below. If you need a lift then contact the Event Leader who will try to sort
you out with one. Alternatively take a look at members on the
attendance list below who live near you and are able to offer other
members a lift. You could also try posting a message on the Forum.
