Welsh Mountain Winter Weekend

NO BUFFET ON FRIDAY NIGHT - there will be a hot 3 course meal when you get there on Friday (please bring a couple of ££ contribution instead of a buffet item)

Join us for a wintry weekend deep in the beautiful mountain scenery of North Wales! This climbers "hut" (See accomodation description below) is located on the doorstep of Snowdonia National Park and is a ten minute walk from Llanberis High Street. From here, we can walk the Llanberis path to Snowdon, but there's also easy access to other Snowdon routes, the Glyders and lots more spectacular high level walks. For low level walks visit the Padarn Lake and Country Park, or explore the history of the slate industry on marked paths through the quarries.

The walks are weather dependent - if poor weather is forecast, the walk may be changed to another mountain or different level in the same area, or possibly changed to the Sunday. The leader will advise in advance of Saturday of any planned changes.
