Join Phil and Stephen on a leisurely day walk from Grassington along Kilnsey Moor to Conistone Dib.

This is Day 2 of a walking weekend in the Yorkshire Dales - see further information at the end.

The walk starts in the village of Grassington, situated in Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales. We walk through the small villages of Threshfield and Skirethorns before starting to head through some stunning Dales countryside passing ancient settlements with views of ancient field systems.

We then head along Kilnsey Moor taking in spectacular views of Kilnsey Crag before arriving in the villages of Kilnsey and Conistone.

Conistone Dib is an exciting walk through a dry valley which includes a super narrow section between two limestone pillars. We then walk along the Dales Way past the sight of a couple of medieval villages before arriving back in Grassington.

Following the walk we will be heading to the Devonshire Arms for a well deserved drink.

This is Day 2 and Day 1 is at Malham (http://outdoorlads.com/event/walking-dales-day-1-malham) primarily hosted by Stephen Turner.

- You may want to do both walks and stay over in the Yorkshire Dales. This is what Stephen and myself will be doing on the Saturday night. We are not arranging accommodation - but if you decide to do both, send us a message and we can say where we are staying and you are welcome to join us in the evening.
