*Please add your name to the waiting list if you would like to come. It is very likely that people will drop out, especially in the final week. If the walk is still full, I will looking at splitting into two groups to add extra capacity.* Join Andrew for this fabulous winter walk starting from the interesting Cotswold town of Tetbury with its many fine buildings and continuing through a typical Cotswold landscape to reach the National Aboretum at Westonbirt. From here the route follows the Monarch's Way back to Tetbury passing close by Prince Charles' Highgrove House. Please note that the walk does not include a visit to the National Aboretum itself as there is a General Admission charge. At the end of the walk there will be the option of a drink at one of Tetbury's many charming pubs.
What to bring
Walking boots and a waterproof coat will be essential for this walk. You will need to make sure that you have warm clothing, such as hats, gloves and layers as we will be stopping for lunch outside. Denim trousers are not suitable for outdoor walking at this time of year.
Food & drink
Everyone will need to bring a packed lunch as there will not be any shops on the way. There are shops in Tetbury at the start of the walk, so purchasing food here should be easy but please allow time to do this. There is an optional pub stop in Tetbury at the end of the walk.
