We'll be 'taming' the Tamar with this walk through the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
We'll be starting at Bere Ferrers train station, and heading across to the Tavy estuary and up through Hallowell and Hole Woods before crossing the Bere Ferrers Penisula to reach the Tamar valley itself.
We'll then follow the Tamar south, to circle back to the train station at Bere Ferrers.

Although we'll be walking through the small Hamlet of Bere Ferrers, there's unlikely to be anywhere to stock up on food and drink - so please bring your usual Packed Lunch, Water and Snacks with you for the day hike.
