Join us to celebrate and promote OutdoorLads at one of the UK's biggest and best pride events.

As its our Tenth Anniversary this year, we want to create a huge impact on the parade, the pride event and the future of OutdoorLads with the largest splash of red t-shirts as a walking entry in the pride parade. Join us with your red t-shirts and smiling, enthusiastic faces as we march through the streets of Manchester and wave to the cheering crowds showing and promoting to everyone how great OutdoorLads is and how proud we are to be members.

This is always an enjoyable day. It's great to be able to show everyone how friendly and welcoming we are.

We aim to have a number of groups gathered in the parade representing as many of the different activities we do - Climbers (with climbing gear), Walkers (with walking gear), Kayakers (holding paddles), Mountain Bikers (on their mountain bikes), Skiers (holding skiis perhaps ???), Campers (not sure what they will do), others with maps and compasses all grouped around Outdoorlads banners. We also hope to have some members promoting the brand with the public - giving out information and sticking stickers on would-be members.

After the parade, for those who have Big Weekend wrist bands, we will congregate together in the Village outside Eagle Bar.  This will be our base for the rest of the day.  We will then send groups of three or four membrs out and about throughout the rest of the day to engage members of the public and hand out stickers and hopefully sign up new members, whilst enjoying a drink or two together (in the sunshine! - hopefully).

The parade starts at Liverpool Road and ends outside the Village, so you do not need a wrist band to take part in the parade itself. However, if you wish to enter the Village after the parade, you will need to purchase a wrist band from Manchester Pride.

We will also be having a social event on the Sunday night. Click here for details and to register.

The parade theme this year is Ten Years of Outdoorlads, so why not give some thoughts and share your ideas in the comments box below as to how we can celebrate Ten Years of Outdoorlads in the parade - we will see how we might reflect that in our entry.
