Linear Winter Walk Amberley to Arundel up Camp Hill

Join Justin and Matt on a varied walk along quiet lanes and dry made up paths (where possible). We will go in the direction of North Stoke, then just before, head up the Downs via Camp Hill, then passing the Burgh Tumuli, past Perry Hill and another Tumulus, along the gallops and drop down to Burpham where we will pause for a packed lunch and depending on the time, stop for a swift half. www.georgeatburpham.co.uk (which is a dog friendly pub).
After lunch we will head out of Burpham and Wepham and head towards our old friend the Monarch's Way then back down through Warningcamp (not Warning, Camp) to the River Arun, where we join the tow path on the south side. It might be a bit marshy at the point we join, proper walking boots are highly recommended. From here we will walk to the Centre of Arundel with good views over the river to the castle.
I'll end the walk here as it is a more interesting place to finish, giving people a change of light refreshments of the Tea or Beer variety. Arundel Railway Station at this point which will be about 20mins walk.

Food & drink
Please bring a packed lunch and a drink/plenty of water. There will be nowhere at the start to buy anything. We may stop at a pub lunch time but I cannot garantee it in case of a late start or slow pace.
