Starting from Hebden Bridge, 5th funkiest town in the UK and end point so lots of coffee shops and bars to look forward at journey’s end; we'll head across the canal and up onto the moors taking a zig zap route towards Cock Hill where the massive obelisk of Stoodley Pike starts to loom on the horizon.

As we reach the peak, at the Pike we can admire the beautiful Calderdale valley stretching out, with wind farms in the distance. To get even more height we will climb into the dark heart of Stoodley Pike to savior the views.

Then we have a steep descent before crossing a ford and through Burnt Arches Wood before hitting the Rochdale Canal for a leisurely walk back.
