Jump on a train or ferry to Stranraer and join us for day's road cycling as we explorer the Rhinns of Galloway - a hammer-head shaped peninsula at the SW corner of Scotland.

From Stranraer we cycle via Portpatrick and Port Logan to the Mull of Galloway, the most southerly point in Scotland. If conditions are clear, we can enjoy superb views of the Isle of Man (as can be seen in the main event photo - just over 20 miles away), and enjoy some refreshments at the cliff-top café. Our return route to Stranraer will take us up the more direct eastern side of the peninsula through Sandhead.

The ride is mostly on minor or quieter A or B class roads. There are a number of short hills, but no prolonged climbs. The total distance planned for the ride is around 52 miles and it is best suited to road bikes.

Although the site may not permit double booking, this event is also open to participants attending the Castle of Park weekend at nearby Glenluce.
