Two cracking Munros, a high ridge walk, and stunning views from Loch Lomond all the way to Ben Nevis. Join us for a great autumn day out in the hills!

The hills to the south of Crianlarich offer some fantastic hillwalking, and we will take in two of the more straightfoward and accessible Munros in this mountainous region. Starting from the large layby on the A82, we will head up onto the aptly named Twistin Hill and ascend along narrow paths to the summit of An Caisteal (Gaelic for 'The Castle').

We then follow a fun rocky ridge with some short easy scrambles up onto the summit of Beinn a' Chroin. If the weather is clear we should get some great views across the mountain ranges all around us, before completing our circuit by descending to the valley below and following the River Falloch back to the cars.

After the walk we'll head into Crianlarich for some well earned tea and cake!
