The North Norfolk coast is beautiful at the best of times, but is even more so in the beautiful constrasts of Winter, so why not join ODL as we spend our first weekend at this Grade 2 National Trust cottage in Brancaster Staithe.
The golden sands at Brancaster are great for a winter walk, taking in the panoramic views of the saltmarshes, Brancaster Harbour and Scolt Head Island National Nature Reserve beyond.
During the weekend we will be celebrating Burns night, with food and games to match, what better way to banish those January blues.
What to bring
Food & drink
Friday night: Please bring one item for the buffet. Don't go overboard. This should be to feed no more than 2 to 3 people. Why not coordinate with a couple of others who are going.
Saturday breakfast: Porridge & cereals, toast and jam are all included in the event cost.
Saturday lunch: Please bring a packed lunch. Why not grab one of the various seafood baguettes sold at The Crab Hut next door to the cottage. The Crab Hut special is particularly good value!!
Saturday night Burns Night dinner: Included in the event cost. We will be celebrating Burn's Night in style with Neeps, tatties and of course Haggis.
Sunday breakfast: Porridge & cereals, toast and jam are all included in the event cost.
Tea, coffee & squash: Included throughout the weekend.
