Join Chris (chrisblakeref) on a day walk around the south-west corner of the Black Country. The walk will take in four different pubs, all of which are brewery taps. They are within a few miles of each other, which provides the perfect excuse to combine walking with beer!

The walk will meet at Stourbridge Junction station at 11.00am prompt (platform 1). We will then catch the Stourbridge Shuttle into the town for the first pub. The breweries are:

- Craddock's of Stourbridge

- Green Duck Brewery of Stourbridge

- Sadler's of Lye

- Batham's of the Delph, Brierley Hill

After the Batham's pub the plan is to walk back towards Lye station where the event will finish at approximately 6pm (subject to drinking/walking speeds). People may wish to continue having a couple of drinks or perhaps a curry before heading off, but I will coordinate this on the day.

Whilst the walk won't be a scenery spectacular (an understatement of the century) it is one for the real ale drinkers. Whilst all drinkers are welcome, don't be surprised if there's a look of confusion if you walk into the Bull & Bladder and ask for a G&T on the rocks! (I'm joking - everyone is welcome).

Numbers are limited so please cancel your attendance if you find you are unable to come after registering.

Public transport information:

Please buy a train ticket through to Stourbridge Town. This will cover you for your journey from the Junction when we catch the Stourbridge Shuttle.
